PETER LONDON GLOBAL DANCE COMPANY
Peter London Global Dance Company (PLGDC) is an amazing home-grown dance company, founded by dance aficionado and culture connoisseur, Peter London, in 2013. The company prides itself on featuring local, inner-city talent, that may not have been able to otherwise have the opportunity to showcase their talent on such a large stage.
PLGDC has performed for some of the largest, most culturally diverse and arts discriminate audiences in South Florida. They have partnered with the Harlem Dance Company, as well as dance companies from Jamaica and beyond.
We are excited to bring Peter London Global Dance Company’s artistic excellence to the City of Miami Gardens for this fascinating, once in a lifetime performance for the residents.

Message From The Council Woman
Councilwoman Katina Baskin City of Miami Gardens
Hello, my name is Councilwoman Katrina Baskin. I am a newly elected Councilwoman who comes to public service with a resume’ that boasts 17 years as an Educator and Curriculum Support Specialist for Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS).
As an Educator, I was deeply moved by the recent budget cuts to the Cultural Arts community. These programs are vital outlets and opportunities that students with natural talents can thrive and create a successful path for themselves.
BROADWAY IN THE GARDENS will showcase a minority owned dance company, spoken word artists and a young talented opera singer. This program’s intent is to expose a new audience to the Arts and create a desire for more cultural arts experiences within the City moving forward.
